Katrina works primarily in textile, painting, and collage, in addition to instigating community activations. Her most recent bodies of work visualize the ways in which individuals are interconnected through ancestry, community, and global systems. Imagery of gardening, roots, nets, and dreamscapes serve as metaphors to explore the nature of collective consciousness and memories. Katrina is based in Queens, NY.
